  • James Comey and Loretta Lynch to be investigated

Representative Jim Jordan: "For the past several years, Democrats have obstructed justice and blocked every Congressional investigation imaginable. Now they want to investigate? Ok, let’s investigate! Both parties have criticized James Comey over the past year for his performance as FBI director. Even Sen. Feinstein says there should be an investigation into Loretta Lynch and James Comey’s handling of the Clinton investigation. Let’s have a special counsel for that and see how serious Congressional Democrats are about getting to the truth.”

Democrats are infuriated, of course. They think we should only be investigating phony scandals involving the Russians.

MM, do you work for Breitbart (it would explain the idiocy of their stories), and/or have some sort of financial interest in spamming these forums with links to Breitbart to get clicks?

Loretta Lynch and James Comey are both out of their jobs. There's minimal public interest in investigating them. I couldn't care less whether they were investigated, other than the fact that people like you would disingenuously use it to spam the news cycles with in order to distract from more relevant and interesting matters.

I've noticed a curious phenomenon any time someone posts a story that doesn't walk in lockstep with the liberal agenda: Liberals appear in the thread to troll and derail.

It's almost like this is a discussion board and when you post items that are anti one side, the other side turns up to argue against you.

I know it can be a difficult concept to wrap one's mind around, but perhaps MM just likes them as a news source?

I keep waiting for these low-info liberals to show an example of Breitbart publishing a story with significant, factual errors... and I keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting...

Maybe Robert Mueller could take time out from his Russia witchhunt and investigate a real scandal.

This should qualify. It's even appropriate to this thread.

Odd, I can access it without problem.

                        Here's some meat:

"The conservative news site Breitbart.com suffered a rather awkward pants-down moment when a media watchdog site pointed out Breitbart had confused its Loretta Lynches when publishing an attack on the woman President Obama has nominated to be the next attorney general. The site said the 55-year-old nominee served as one of President Bill Clinton’s defense attorneys during the Whitewater investigation of 1994.

She didn’t. That was a different Loretta Lynch.
                        ...
On Sunday, the site posted another piece on nominee Lynch. That piece, which is still live with a correction appended, originally included this paragraph, via Media Matters:

The connection to Whitewater ought to provide additional fodder for Republicans during Lynch’s confirmation hearings. It is odd that Obama chose someone so close to the Clintons — or perhaps not, given the prominent role played by Clinton insider John Podesta in the second term of the Obama White House. Lynch has been rewarded throughout her career for her political loyalty — not an unusual path up the career ladder for federal prosecutors, but certainly one that will allow the GOP, as well as Obama, to raise the political stakes."

They allow either so many total views, or so many views per month (I forget which) before you get the paywall notice.
