"So whether you are a Democrat, Republican, or independent: If you don't want your sons and daughters drafted to fight and die in distant foreign lands, if you don't want your nation wrecked, if you don't want your economy destroyed, if you don't want American blood and American treasure squandered in a needless global war, then your choice in this election is simple: You must vote for President Donald J. Trump"

If it was true I would vote for him. But he's already making noises about jumping in head first in the Israeli/Gaza conflict. Unfortunately, the only candidate that I know of who truly would avoid an unnecessary foreign conflict is JFK Jr., but his domestic policies are disastrous. No good choice for 2024.

The whole situation is strange, because the war hawks who were stoking the fires in Ukraine want us to back away from Israel, which I suspect is why President Trump is for helping them, even though by all accounts, Israel is doing just fine on their own and will wipe out Hamas as long as nobody else intervenes.

That's the trendy thing to do, apparently; to sympathize with Hamas. But as far as I'm concerned, it's just another never-ending quagmire that the US needs to avoid.

But, for another he may well keep us out of wars, out of supporting our democratic allies and out of defending American interest around the world such as in Ukraine and Taiwan and that is because Trump himself is anti-democracy and anti- American. Trumps true allegiances to the Autocratic countries around the world. Trump, wannabe dictator that he is, would like nothing more than to destroy Democracy here in the U.S. and then along with his Dictator friends around the world, surround and crush it everywhere. He's also lying about the economy, of course, which relatively speaking is doing pretty darn well under Biden. Anybody know what ever happened to that horrendous recession everyone was predicting.

Yeah, sometimes what he believes lines up with what his audience wants to hear. I'm just saying that the latter takes precedence.

Sure there is. Biden has done a remarkable job so far. The U.S. economy has recovered faster and is doing better than any of the major countries in the world. The predicted huge recession never occurred, inflation, no he didn't cause it, is down and wages are up. Manufacturing jobs are coming back, Unions are on the rise. NATO is united once again, after Trump tried to tear it down, Russian aggression is being crushed due to Ukraines fight for freedom and democracy and NATO's, thanks to Biden, strong support and military and economic aid. The stock market, though he doesn't trumpet it every day as did Trump, has been doing great since he's been in office. He's been instrumental in getting hostages released and aid to the Gazans while supporting Israel in there war against Hamas. Most importantly he stands up for freedom and democracy as opposed to Trump and his new Republican Party of fascist Autocrats backed by wealthy Plutocrats who are trying to undermine and overthrow it. You can mimic the talking heads and whine about his age all you want, but he's done the job and done it well.
