Within the interview RFK Jr shares that his private polling reveals he takes more votes from Donald Trump than he does from Joe Biden. Thus, having seeded the background for favorable republican support, running as an independent now becomes the most effective way to stop Trump.

How the Libertarian Party affects elections is a much-disputed point; it's not like the Green Party or the Constitution Party where their positions are clearly far more in alignment with one of the major parties (the Green Party with Democrats, the Constitution Party with Republicans). The Libertarian Party has a mixture of liberal and conservative positions (generally speaking their social positions are aligned with Democrats and their economic positions align with Republicans), so it would have appeal to both. But the common belief--whether correct or not--is that they hurt Republicans more than Democrats. I don't really know what hard data there is on the subject--maybe exit polling could give some information, but I don't know if there's enough information on this specific matter from it.

It'll largely depend on who heads the ticket for either party. If old Joe gets put out to pasture and they put someone in there who at least can pretend to be competent (that doesn't include you Kamala), he probably won't siphon off nearly as many votes from the Democrats. Likewise, if the Republicans manage to avoid nominating OMB, the percent of votes he takes from them will decrease as well.

Honestly, I think Michelle Obama is going to jump in late (so she doesn't have to answer too many questions) and she will get a landslide of "feel-good" votes from low information voters. And Barack will enjoy his fourth term in office as she does his bidding.

Folks remembered him more fondly and he won easily before they started recalling why he retired.

That would be a nightmare, but I wouldn't put it past the Democrat party to try it. Certainly it would be very difficult for any Republican candidate to combat the great pretending that Barack was the greatest president in modern US history.

Was there some new revelation about Barack's sexual proclivities? I know it has been rumored for years (Joan Rivers once said that Barack was our first homosexual president, and Michelle was our first transsexual first lady, and she was dead serious; said it was the worst kept secret in Washington), but I've only ever heard rumors, nothing concrete.
