But the main thing is that 2 teenagers, with apparently no motive except to be able to post a snuff video on social media, deliberately hit an innocent man on a bicycle, filming as they did so, killing the man.

So I can't tell if there really is a bias in reporting of race, but there is definitely a bias somewhere.
