Same here. At least with Christianity we become better people and help others. That is nothing to be ashamed of, even if we are wrong. And if we are wrong, we won't even know about it. But if JimL is wrong, he will have wasted his life and his eternity.

It just amazes me that people like that spend their time being donkey-butts to others with absolutely NOTHING to gain --- it's not like he's going to convince any of us to quit trusting Christ and be more like him.

Same with God. We are all destined for hell (falling off the cliff). God is trying to save us and gave us signs (the gospel) and a safe path (Jesus). If you ignore the signs and end up falling off the cliff (going to Hell) you only have yourself to blame, not God. God isn't killing you, you are killing yourself and God is trying to save you. Ignore him at your own peril.
