Which people were called "conspiracy theorists" decades ago for believing would eventually happen. Yet here we are.

If we go by the definitions of heterosexual and homosexual then said person would be heterosexual. Even under the common argument that gender and sex are separate, this would have to be correct. Despite this when I pointed out the definitions to a person who is very involved in the trans community a transwoman being with a woman would be a lesbian. I think it really has more to do with not being deemed "straight" than it has to do with consistent logic and terminology. Many homosexual men and women are now being attacked for not dating the corresponding trans people and they at least are being consistent. They are homosexual and don't want to be with someone of the opposite sex. Somehow the stance they have held for decades is now controversial.

While I do think that there has been unnecessary confusion caused by the Gender Identity movement I don't think it is fair to use the handful of shooters out there to broad brush all trans people like this.

I don't. But this thread is about the "Trans Day of Vengeance", which, seeing the pictures that rogue has posted, is fairly far-reaching and involves a number of folk.

Part of the problem is we don't know how far-reaching it really is or how much are just over-the-top venting or edgy jokes. I'd much rather have people vent in edgy jokes than really hurt someone. Being able to express anger and even violent thoughts in art or words isn't necessarily good but it's quite often better than the alternative. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez* or the Terfenstein game Diogenes mentioned are both this kind of art.

There's also an organisation the does speed running for charity that banned Harry Potter games because JK Rowling does not "support ze trans" and therefore must be cancelled.

There was definitely some backlash to the Hogwarts Legacy game because of J.K. Rowling's views. It's also thoroughly inconsistent, did you see this sort of thing for King of Fighters XV even though its company is now owned by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (Mohammed bin Salman) through his MiSK Foundation? I'm pretty sure that Mohammed bin Salman is significantly more hostile than J.K. Rowling towards transgenderism--and certainly WAY more hostile towards homosexuals.

But okay, you might say, Harry Potter is way better known than the King of Fighters series. So there'd be less of a movement against it. Okay, so how about Nintendo games? Those are super famous. Well, Mohammed bin Salman now owns 5% of Nintendo (and also owns shares in other notable video game companies):

Well I don't think thought-detection is possible, so making it illegal to hold a view isn't going to be enforceable.

Are you just referring to the discrimination protections of Title VII in the Civil Rights Act, like religion already holds?

Currently they will arrest folks in Britain for nothing more than silently praying and nothing more. Not obstructing access or anything like that since it can happen when an abortion center is closed.

I heard about Salman's stake from the same people who supported the Harry Potter ban. Salman's stake isn't going to stop them buying Nintendo products. Such pillars of virtue.

Too bad. Then you would have seen all of the evidence laid out -- almost all supplied by the government itself -- that showed that her offense was praying.
