But these little 9 years olds (and SO MANY others) would likely still be alive.
So you claim. But you haven't detailed what tthat isn't free. Or this rigorous permitting and salesm bornhow they would hav3 prevented this. Put up or shut up.

And the price of permitting well, thats discriminatory just as much as requiring poll tax or photo id that isn't free.

If by fewer and fewer... you mean more and more, nearly 100%, then yes.

How often do transgender people regret transitioning?
Some studies suggest that rates of regret have declined over the years as patient selection and treatment methods have improved. In a review of 27 studies involving almost 8,000 teens and adults who had transgender surgeries, mostly in Europe, the U.S and Canada, 1% on average expressed regret. For some, regret was temporary, but a small number went on to have detransitioning or reversal surgeries, the 2021 review said.

Anecdotally, 100% of transition-regret cases I have personally seen cited on the internet by conservatives featured one or both of:
        - A religious conversion years later where the person now, holding their new religious beliefs, firmly believed being transgender was bad.
        - People around them reacting very negatively to their transgenderism, to the point where they felt forced to undo the transition not because they didn't like it but because the people around them didn't like it.

In other words, as far as I can tell, pretty much 100% of what very little transgender regret exists is caused by conservatives being negative towards transgender people.

That doesn't mean that you aren't nuts or won't become a criminal in the future.

When Kristin Beck, a decorated Navy SEAL veteran, came out as a transgender woman in 2013, she became a high-profile advocate for the trans community—a role that earned her glowing coverage in left-wing and mainstream center-left media. But unless you’ve been reading right-wing websites in recent months, you might never know that Beck has since detransitioned and gone back to the name Chris Beck. Last month, Beck declared that he had “lived in hell for the past 10 years.” Most of the outlets that reported with enthusiasm on Beck’s initial transition have yet to cover the latest chapter in his life story.

Both of us are trans academics. One of us studies the history of trans activism; the other recently studied detransitioners’ experiences in depth. We strongly oppose efforts, in state legislatures and elsewhere, to target trans children and their families and pass laws restricting treatment options for gender dysphoria, a condition that the American Psychiatric Association’s diagnostic manual defines as impairment or distress over an incongruence between a person’s gender identity and their gender assigned at birth. But trans-rights advocates and mainstream-media outlets should stop downplaying the reality of detransition, lest readers and viewers conclude that it’s a negligible issue. It’s not.

We are beset with a number of prosecutors who don't like prosecuting criminals. They release them without bail so they tend to go out and commit more crimes. If you use lethal force stop one who is in the process of trying to kill you, then you might be arrested like the notorious case of the Manhattan bodega owner last year.

                            • The liberal media is now trying very hard to generate sympathy for the murderer by promoting the narrative that she was rejected by her Christian parents. This follows on the heels of the media wringing its hands over whether or not they referred to the psychopath with the "correct" pronouns.

                                Wiki:
In an interview he gave with conservative influencer Robby Starbuck, Beck contrasts the "beliefs" of the LGBTQ community with his own belief in Jesus and God and discusses his desire to convert people away from being trans by witnessing his own Christian conversion.[31][33][34][35]

I note also this person transitioned at the young and impressionable age of... 47. Apparently they think their doctors were too quick believe a middle aged adult with significant life experience was intelligent enough to make their own life decisions with regards to medical procedures, and feel the doctors should have spent much more time asking "are you sure, are you really really really sure?" for several years the way they would a child. Since this moron feels they were "rushed into it" by the doctors failing to veto their choice of their own medical treatment at the age of 47, they apparently wrongly assume that doctors treat kids the same way as adults and that it's as easy for a kid to get gender affirming surgery as it is an adult. Because this moron feels their own transition at age 47 was "too fast" they're out there telling the kids to slow right down, as if their own experience has any relevance at all to kids. And they make really really clear that they're saying all of this as a result of their newfound Christian beliefs.

The only question I have is did they catch religion and then get this moronic, or were they this moronic first and then catch religion?
