With Trump it's pretty hard to know what he will do. He could just as easily decide to toss Ukraine to the wolves. Or he could talk Putin into leaving Ukraine. But if it becomes a staring contest between Putin and Trump, neither will back down.Originally posted by Mountain Man View Post

No I don't think he would start a war to satisfy his ego. But his narcissism and stubbornness would not allow him to back down or compromise if Putin threatens to use nukes if the US gives Ukraine fighter jets for example. I really don't think he would. We've seen Trump in action. He's not really a provocateur but more of a reactionary. He tries to work with people first, even with adversaries, and then gets childish and surly if he doesn't believe they negotiated in good faith. Like, he started out complimenting Pelosi, but quickly switched to hostility when she badmouthed him publicly.Originally posted by Mountain Man View Post
