If I had my way, these guys would be taxed enough that they wouldn't be thinking they were above other people enough to be trying to push any agenda on anyone. The WEF would not exist as a result. It's right-wing politics that has led to these guys being uber-rich and feeling they are better than everyone else and have the right to be trying to shape the world outside of democracy. You complaining about them is you complaining about what your own politics have created.

As for them pushing my policies, there's not even the slightest mention of them wanting to raise taxes on themselves, so spare me your drivel.

Because (vegans) don't quit meat because they dislike the taste. We quit it because we don't want an animal raised, tortured, and killed for our taste pleasure. Things like Impossible and Beyond give us that experience we grew up with, without all the murder and cruelty

Seeing right-wingers attack the WEF is amusing. You're critiquing the results of your own politics.
As we've seen time and time even in your people's paradise of utopian communist societies, there is a ruling class that is uber wealthy while the masses scrape by.

Marxism doesn't change that, but rather just lowers the standard of living for everyone except for the ruling elites.

Hello? This is star. The guy who insists that the communist dictator Joseph Stalin was a right winger. Too him anything he doesn't like is "right wing" even when ardent leftists promote it.

This is what I mean by you're either a chronic liar or you're just really a very odd individual with a comprehension problem. As you've been told multiple times, there are a variety of folks that make up WEF membership than CEOs and billionaires and they all pay a fee to be a member just the same. In fact, the primary member speakers at the annual meetings I typically see are government officials, scientists, academics, people in media, members of activist groups and individuals and none of them discuss how they can avoid government regulation or paying taxes, in fact, they typically advocate MORE government regulation and enforcement of things like speech, climate change, and pandemics.

It seems to be a mental comprehension problem at your end in terms of you failing to understand that you asserting something multiple times doesn't necessarily cause the other person to take it seriously / believe it / care about it. In this instance it doesn't matter 2 figs that some plebs can attend too. The conference as a whole wouldn't exist without the rich people being power-brokers there. You can repeat 100x that some plebs can pay to attend and it won't change anything I think because it's entirely irrelevant.

You're one of the most conspiracy-minded out-there posters on TWeb, you shouldn't expect anyone else to believe things you say just cos you say them a few times or find things important just because you repeat a few times that you think it's important or connect dots between things in the same way you do. Perhaps instead of making up totally absurd claims about me being a chronic liar etc, you could try to realize that other people don't share your values and concerns, and so if someone doesn't show interest in something you think is important to the topic at hand, you could ask them why they don't agree with your view that it's relevant.

Most attendees are members, meaning they pay a fee like the wealthy elites do. If you want to rely on Wiki and lefty YT influencers for your information about this subject, have at it, but you're being misled with erroneous info, and that's no skin off my nose personally. I mainly address your misleading info for others who might happen to read it.

Some of the WEF forums are conference talks that anyone can pay to attend, others are invite-only and happen behind doors closed to the public. I don't think there's much to worry about from the public forums. International conferences can and do happen on all sorts of subject all the time. I attend some every year as part of my own job. Its the things being discussed in closed-door meetings by the more powerful and rich people that are the more dangerous to the world. Not that WEF is the only forum that that can happen in. As a few people have noted, these people could talk by Zoom meetings if they wanted, and I'm sure they do often.

All you need do is look at how rich that the leaders of communist countries became to show that leftists don't need right-wing politics to become wealthy. They just need to be on top.

I'm more concerned about progressives like you; the peons they use as their tools. Whether they're right or left, they're devotees to the religion of technocratic authoritarianism and environmental fanaticism; everything leftists peons are adherents to -- i.e. restrictions against free speech, pandemic restrictions, climate change restrictions, etc.
