The fact that Joe pointed out that the garage the documents were found in was locked does not mean that he knew the documents were there.

And anyone interested in knowing what Joe really said can watch the video:

Yeah, that's why he responded, "woah, wait - WHAT??? There were classified documents in my garage?!?!?!

Yes, he bumbled and fumbled through an answer to Peter's question by reading (or trying to read) a statement from his lawyer.

And, how do you think it helps by proposing that he had classified documents whose whereabouts were unknown to him?

I don't think Joe even knows what he said.

weak. The 'joe admitted it' on this is just unsupportable in any form. And it belies the utter dishonesty of the MAGA media approach to these issues.

Why would he know there were classified records in a box packed up by staffers who ostensibly would not allow such documents to be taken and unopened since?

Have you never heard of the expression "the buck stops here"? Did those staffers have the security clearances that Biden did? Were they in any way authorized to handle that classified information?

You're smarter than this, Jim --- you don't get a pass by sluffing it off on some lower level staffers.

Yet, you can take a question that Trump asked, and turn that into ironclad proof that Trump knew he had lost the election.

So, till there is something real beyond speculation and inuindo, I'm not going to be overly impressed. It is not good that these documents were found in the posession of Trump, Biden, and Pence, but there is no comparision betwen Biden and Trump in any aspect of this problem. Pence is in the best position of the three, but Trump is 'ahead' by at least an order of magnitude in terms of potential culpability and potential criminal intent. None of them will likely answer in any significant way for it.

                    Once again, nothing.

Or are you basing that on a TDS delusional belief Trump is working for Putin with no evidence to back it?

I would think if Joe was really as ignorant as you suggest, then the exchange would have gone something like:

"What were you thinking keeping classified documents at your private residence?"
"Come on, man, I wasn't thinking anything. I didn't even know they were there, okay?"
"You didn't know they were there?"
"No! What, you think I'm stupid enough to keep classified documents locked in the garage next to my Corvette?"

Instead, Joe's answer suggests he was fully aware of the existence of the documents, and that it's okay, because at least his garage was locked

Stoic is right MM. All that can be said about what Biden is saying there is, given the fact we now know the documents are there, the place they were found is locked. They were not out in the open. There is nothing else there.

A residential garage is to a SCIF what Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop was to a Tier 4 Data Center.

At least to those that weren't engaging in political influence peddling and shady deals in Ukraine and China.

Maybe the classified documents were locked securely in the trunk of the Corvette when the garage door was open!

(Didn't the classic Stingray have a 'trunk' in the front, referred to as a frunk?)

That would have been a good way to phrase the question. But it was Peter Doocy.
