This thread is about teaching children things that no school has any business teaching children. You are always so determined to get into the nitty gritty of it that you avoid the topic at hand at all costs, because your mind is as perverted as those teachers!
From what I can deduce from the article that is linked in the OP - schools are not teaching any of this. From that link:

school boards have until January to adopt, are aimed at reinforcing parents in their right to decide what their children are exposed to and at protecting their innocence, according to local Richmond outlet WTKR. They also noted that the law is not intended to censor books or instructional material based on the sexual orientation of characters in such books.

    The article continues that:

The policy mandates that public schools in Virginia, which has been a hotbed of conflict between parents and school boards, must give parents prior notice if they intend to use any material with sexually explicit content, which it defines as "any description, picture, photograph, drawing, motion picture film, digital image or similar visual representation depicting sexual bestiality, a lewd exhibition of nudity, sexual excitement, sexual conduct or sadomasochistic abuse, coprophilia, urophilia, or fetishism."

However, in what schools and in what classes would the topics of "sexual bestiality, sadomasochistic abuse, coprophilia, urophilia, or fetishism" be required for study?

Then if that is indeed the case, why the objections?

It's really a simple question and one that the left will not answer.

She really does have a prurient obsession about everyone's sex life life, doesn't she?

And she's too old to pretend that she's like a naïve 5 year old who doesn't understand that it is none of her business.

This whole thread appears to be nothing more than a confection. The Left is not "having fits about the new Virginia School Requirement"; although some on the Right seem to be metaphorically clutching their pearls and demanding their sal volatile in anticipation.

Look at my thread concerning an English class (that would either be English Literature or Composition), and the teacher inserting a CRT lesson plan she found online. https://theologyweb.com/campus/forum...ts-to-butt-out

Again, I urge any liberal scoffers to check out Liberals of TikTok, in which the social posts of various teachers are collected where they boast of what they are doing in their classrooms. After seeing it, I doubt you could ask that question.

If it is nothing more than much ado about nothing as so many on the left assure us, then why are they so upset about it?

So why did your OP fail to link to any of that? It would have made for a more coherent OP if those links had been provided. This [four pages in] and only after my remarks is something of an afterthought on your part.

                            Yes. They are.

For instance, from the Washington Post (WaPo):

Source: Virginia policy latest attempt to restrict rights of transgender students

The administration of Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) this weekend sharply restricted the rights of transgender students, sending schools into turmoil and drawing strong denunciations from Democratic legislators and some educators, but earning applause from Republicans and parents’ rights advocates.

The guidelines, released Friday, place Virginia at the heart of a national battle over how transgender children should be treated at school, as well as if and how much parents should be told about gender transitions that begin there.

                            Source

                            © Copyright Original Source

According to them, prohibiting these things from being taught "sharply restricted the rights of transgender students."

Of course, what's missing is just how requiring letting parents know if the teachers are talking about "sexual bestiality, sadomasochistic abuse, coprophilia, urophilia, or fetishism" manages to "sharply restrict the rights of transgender students."

And if isn't being taught anywhere in the first place, then nobody should be getting upset that it has been prohibited.

One member of Virginia's legislature is so upset she has proclaimed that these guidelines violate the Virginia Human Rights Act.

                            [*highlighting in original*]

So at least according to her, not being able to talk about "sexual bestiality, sadomasochistic abuse, coprophilia, urophilia, or fetishism" with young children is a violation of her human rights.

Perhaps because you were the only one who hasn't heard of how some liberals immediately protest proposals like this every time it happens to the point it is unnecessary to provide evidence for it?
