Since there is an (implied) question, it can indeed be considered a discussion under that definition. If, however, one prefers to consult dictionary.com, it is unquestionably a discussion.

According to the political test that star likes to promote, I'm a liberal.

Point of fact, I'm a small "l" libertarian. I can be liberal in some areas and conservative in others.

But that has nothing to do with what I wrote which is according to the liberals in America, conservatives are far right. Period. They will make room for the theoretical possibility that some might not be, or list some "friend" they "know" as a rare exception, but for the most part for them conservative is just a synonym for "far right."
