Let's remember, this is the idiot who illegally took a bunch of government White House documents to Mar A Lago when he left (ironic given his entire campaign was built largely around locking up Hillary Clinton because of when that idiot was improperly storing her government documents), and the National Archives had to actively fight to get them back. Initial sources are claiming that the FBI is looking for classified documents. So it seems like it might indeed have something to do with that.

Does everyone remember the excitement about Clinton's emails possibly having some mishandled classified material in them? Shouldn't the people chanting Lock Her Up now be chanting Lock Him Up?

Perhaps Seer can tell us: How many classified documents do the FBI need to find inappropriately present at Mar-A-Lago before Trump should be prosecuted for it? One? 100? A million? Or should Trump be let off regardless of the number, Seer?

A few of his actions have been investigated. That's it. In addition, as I've noted, he illegally removed government documents from the White House (including classified docs from the sounds of it). That's something that Hillary did, and he built a campaign on locking her up (funny, he never got around to that.....). Quite likely this is about that, and they think he still has classified docs that he didn't turn over after having his hand forced by the National Archives.

Honestly just based on that alone, both he and Hillary should be locked up together, in my book.

We know what they did during the Russian Collusion Delusion, so what's to stop them from doing it again? They're going to try and tie Trump up in court and then claim he can't run in 2024 while there is an ongoing investigation. As someone pointed out, Trump could make all of this go away if he simply announced he wasn't going to run for president.
