As far as eating bugs, I already eat a ton of them (literally over my lifetime) because of all the veggies I consume. And coffee - lots of 'em in coffee.

But I'm not about to endeavor to eat bugs - I'd rather crush them in the faces of elites first - but I'm not going to sweat that aspect of it.
I doubt the elites will be eating bugs.

I'm sure they won't. They will be able to afford paying $200 for bread and cakes, from the few remaining sanctioned farms working strictly for the politburo. That doesn't mean I won't crush bugs in their faces if I can.

Future generations are going to have no other choice.

Hence my quip that anyone with grand-children should teach them to knap flint and make fire [sans matches, lighters etc].

On a slightly different note, the film Cast Away with Tom Hanks is quite pertinent in that regard, when someone is thrown into a situation where all the conveniences of modern life do not exist..

The most efficient system in history of growing food and getting it to consumers, modern farming, is under attack, blamed for causing climate change.

Dutch Government to Farmers: Reduce Your Operations by Up to 95 Percent

The world has watched as Dutch farmers fight for their economic survival against demands that they shrink their operations to suit the government's climate change agenda. The Dutch government has told farmers to cut ammonia emissions by 50 percent, and those near protected areas must reduce their operations by as much as 95 percent, or they must sell their land to the government and face a lifetime ban from farming.

Sri Lanka's ban of chemical fertilizers in farming caused the struggling nation's agricultural sector and economy to collapse. It ended with protestors frolicking in the presidential swimming pool after nation's president fled the country.

Sri Lanka was supposed to be the poster child for modern organic farming.
The World Economic Forum even proudly posted an article about Sri Lanka's expected success, written by the prime minister whose house was set on fire by protestors.

...the Biden Administration appears to be
coming after farmers. Steve Milloy, editor of the website Junkscience.com, writes that a new study by the EPA claims that air emissions from farms, basically farm dust, kill 17,000 Americans per year, the same EPA standards that basically killed the coal industry.

"These are people who want to control every aspect of our lives and that includes energy use and food use," Milloy says. "They believe food production is a major contributor to global warming, a major contributor to greenhouse gases, and they're not going to give up on agriculture. They don't like agriculture."

It is not farmers per se it is some modern farming practises. And as Ronson remarked:

Between starving to death, and living in a hotter climate I'll take the heat - how about you? They are doing their best to lower food production as the population of the earth grows. They are anti-human. Never mind the fact that these elites are still using private jets, limos, staying in 5 star hotels, living in mansions, and stuffing their pig faces with the best food money can buy.

If that's the case, then let nature take its course. Why would you trust that wealthy elites have your best interest in mind?

And those 5 extinctions were certainly caused by humans.

The dinosaurs were around for some 165 million years. Modern humans evolved around 300,000 years ago. Recorded history began around 7,000 years ago with the development of writing.

                      Not very long, is it?

A hotter climate may well lead to starvation. It is very hard to grow crops to feed large populations in drought conditions. So you may not actually have much of a choice.

You are not going to have drought conditions everywhere, not even close... There will be positive and negatives of a warmer earth. And remember life flourished when the earth was much warmer. And why would you trust the elites who are cramming down policies on us that they refuse to follow?

Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth, Study Finds

From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25.

An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

If you are correct, then human beings are resilient and will adapt. If they die off, then, as you claim, it's just another of earth's natural cyclical events. The earth apparently has a tendency to magically replenish itself over and over again with life, so the earth will be fine. Wealthy elites, who don't seem to really care about climate change in their own personal actions, are causing starvation much quicker and more definitive with their policies.
