Liberal prosecutors refusing to enforce the law are a blight on this country.

I just find it hilariously ironic that their "punishment" is exactly what we wanted in the first place: responsible sex, which would mean there was no need for Roe v Wade or 'convenience' abortions.
We have been telling them for years to just keep their pants on.

I'd kind of like it to be mandatory nationwide that all medical professionals be bound by the "secular" portions of the Hippocratic Oath.

The law used to require a second doctor be on hand to make sure that the law was followed and to look out for the baby in case the doctor botched the abortion and the baby was born alive[1].

In ff's world that constituted "fascist oversight"

    1. abortionists have this nasty desire to "finish the job" when a baby survives being aborted, which is straight out homicide, and is why a second doctor was required. One that would be there to defend the baby.

Yeah, the very epitome of fascism

By other doctors. And don't call me surely! (works better when spoken)

Or are you insisting on fascist oversight?
Yes, that's exactly what he's saying.

SCOTBS would be a fitting abbreviation for a liberal leaning court.

SCOTUS nominees make a point of never promising to rule on hypothetical cases or even actual cases working their way toward the Supreme Court. For one thing they would have to recuse themselves if they did so. Politicians from both sides do their best to get them to do so but none ever do.
I never employed the word "promising". And what Schaeffer, in his brief interview, opined might occur was later intimated by Thomas.
