Caught on camera: Car with anti-Trump bumper sticker crashes into Trump store

EASTON, Mass. (WJAR) — A car crashed into a New England for Trump store in Massachusetts -- and it was caught on a security camera.

The Easton Police Department posted a video on social media, which shows a Volkswagen Jetta smashing through the front window and into the store at about 5:10 p.m. EDT Thursday.

The crash sent racks of clothing flying.

The driver, who has been as identified 46-year-old Sean Flaherty, of Raynham, was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Flaherty is expected to face a slew of charges, including reckless driving and destruction of property. Police said additional charges may follow.

Authorities said the only person in the store was an employee, who was not hurt. The employee, who is seen in the video, appears startled as the car slams through the store.

"There's a lot of people that support us and there's a good amount of people that don't support us," Lambert said. "Whatever your belief is is your opinion, but there's no need for this."

The driver allegedly told employees in the moments after the crash that voices in his head told him to do it.

A photographer from Enterprise News, which is a Massachusetts-based publication, tweeted photos of the car, which had an anti-Trump bumper sticker on it.

The store will remain closed throughout the weekend.

However, staff members have set up shop in the parking lot to continue to sell their merchandise to residents across the region.

The store has seven locations in New England. Aside from Massachusetts, there are also locations in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, as well as New York.

Each store sells merchandise, such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other accessories, along with flags and other items.

Most of the merchandise bears Trump's name or the word, "Let's Go, Brandon."
