Still, Trump's support has definitely helped some candidates, but it had no real effect here.
So candidates that won with Trump's endorsement would have won anyway, and candidates that lost with Trump's endorsement lost because of that endorsement?

Sounds like "heads, I win; tails, you lose".

What part of "but it had no real effect here" are you having difficulties with?

He won because he was a mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.

          I mean, that's a storybook, man.

The point is that Trump's support had little to no effect here.

There were a couple of folks interviewed saying that while they support Trump and believe the election was stolen, they still voted for Raffensperger, and particularly Kemp because they thought they were doing a good job.

              C'monman.

You know he is now a major target of the left. They cannot allow a second black U.S. Senator -- particularly from another southern state. I mean, how can you keep pretending that it's "Jim Crow 2.0" down here?

I don’t even remember where I heard it now. It had to be one of my semi-regular podcasts, so I’m thinking it was probably Preet’s Stay Tuned, or more likely the NYTimes’ Sway. And the tea was being served by one of Trump’s inside folks, like that never happened before. It’s got the spiteful ex-bf vibe to lend versimilitude. But at the end of the day, the damage looks collateral. All the reports say that he’s too blinded by the headlights of his election loss to see any peripheral issues.

You haven’t see it then. Neither have I. It’s a documentary about “2000 mules” stuffing ballot boxes with absentee ballots in Pennsylvania, says here.

That is most likely the best analysis. Everything was about him is exactly how he came across during that campaign stop, and the damage that it was causing wasn't something to be factored in.

I had no idea that Walker was an African-American.

but he definitely doesn't look like an African American.
