yes - mosquito pitch sounds. Problem is that too many adults can hear them.

      Lessee...

Went stone deaf when in kindergarten requiring surgery
Dozens of concerts where your hearing didn't return to normal for two days.
Countless number of explosions and gunfire -- often without proper or any ear protection

What's that you say? I don't hear anything.

Indeed, the protesters have now been removed by police, but the final confrontations were fairly violent. It seemed like a lot of gangs had gotten involved and were taking the opportunity to attack police for the sake of it. 40 police reported injuries.

It's drawing unfavorable comparisons to the last violent protest in the country, 40 years ago, when protesters were against NZ playing sport with apartheid South Africa. However there are some big differences:
        - The apartheid protest had very clear goals, while this protest seems to have many goals / no clear ones.
        - The apartheid protest had widespread support nationally, perhaps majority support, while support for this protest is very much a minority.
        - This protest was more violent, and for no good reason.
        - The apartheid protest, whichever side a person was on, was universally understood to be a protest about morality, while the majority regards the protesters today as "a bunch of nutters" not as making any sort of legitimate morality-based protest.

I'm not following it closely but several of these assertions seem suspect.

Ending mandates is a pretty clear goal.[1]

I take claims that they are "very much a minority" with a rather large grain of salt after Trudeau declared that the convoy represented a "fringe minority" but polls found that upwards of two-thirds of Canadians agreed with their goals. That is a mighty large "fringe minority" there. One could almost be forgiven for describing it as "yuuge."

As for the violence, FWICT, it was much more tame than what happened here in 2019 which the left insists was "mostly peaceful" or "fiery but peaceful."

And I'm sure your last point isn't influenced by the opinion of the leftist loon making them.

          1. Again, not following this that closely so it is possible that unlike all the protests elsewhere else this one in New Zealand morphed into something bigger and far-reaching with multiple goals.
