So, I just got notified that I'm on "restricted" status on Fartbook for at least the next 90 days. I can still post, but my posts are down-ranked in people's Newsfeeds. It's for repeatedly posting "misinformation." The notice cited a couple of posts from three months ago, one an Alex Berenson article.

So, I promptly posted at least four more Berenson articles.

A friend suggested I set up an account on another platform in case I get totally banned. I probably won't do so.

Parler, from what I gather, has been resuscitated, but is a pathetic latrine.

Guttr, home of such luminaries as Dinesh D'Souza, gives me a blank page, and from what I understand is more analogous to Twitter, which does not interest me.

PravdaSocial -- -- Bad Orange Man's new platform is not actually operational yet, and it appears to be geared toward "mobile" devices, so not for me.

Besides those problems, I'm of the understanding that all of them are or will be mostly right-wing echo chambers. A big reason for my posting stuff on Facebook is to get it into the eyes of people who almost exclusively imbibe MSM, PBS, The Atlantic, TYT, NYT, WaPo, HuffPo, etc., even if they mostly ignore my posts.

I'm not interested in echo chambers either. My brother will watch commentators on the video channels who he agrees with all day long (he's retired). I don't think that's healthy. It just makes him angry to hear angry people agreeing with him and telling him he should be angrier.

As much as I despise Leftism as an entity, it does have components that I'd like to know about. I get some of that here from the Leftoids and they can provide the MSM links that I would otherwise avoid.
