The fact is that German speaking people have killed one another over their Christian religious issues and numerous other Christians have killed each other for a variety of different reasons in the past 1700 years or so.
Out of curiosity, why did you say "German speaking people" instead of "Germans"?

Is that ALL Christian Germans without exception? And, please define "Christian German".

I've corrected her on this multiple times. You'd think a historian would know this, or at least be able to accept basic correction and use those newly discovered facts in the future.

And a word of caution. Using terms like "The Nazis merely" while directly discussing what they did to the Jews, places you dangerously close to being a Nazi apologist
And when taken in conjuction with past statements, such as those that have sought to equate small atrocities with the Holocaust, it REALLY is not a good look from a German.....

Close? It blatantly crosses the line.

However, Christianity did rather set the agenda with the persecution of the Jews as they had been persecuted by the Christian church and Christian societies long before the Nazis came along. The Nazis merely utilised their own and other existing anti-Semitic tropes and slanders.

Or, given that they put gays and lesbians in concentration camps as well, be thankful you aren't living just 70 years ago.
