Where does the thread title state that "money can never guarantee happiness"?

Where does the verb "[to] buy" appear in the thread title?
And where is the "flat declaration" [i.e. declare - to state emphatically]of which you write?"It ain't necessarily so
The things that you're liable
To read in the Bible
It ain't necessarily so."

But it still does not change the fact that you just flatly declared that "money canNOT guarantee happiness" leaving no room for any exception. None.
You posted one of those over-simplified statements.

Happiness and unhappiness are relative. Suicide rates are generally higher in wealthy countries, per capita, as opposed to the world's poorest ones.
I wish I could find the quote today but I can't seem to locate it. I believe it was Prince Fahd, regarding his observation of the rising quality of life in Saudi Arabia. It was something like "You can never make the people truly happy, but only give them smaller and smaller things to complain about."

And of course that caveat [i.e. that money cannot guarantee happiness] is a fact. It may indeed bring great happiness but it is not an absolute and foregone conclusion that money will bring happiness, as Clay Cockrell makes makes very clear in his op-ed piece."It ain't necessarily so
The things that you're liable
To read in the Bible
It ain't necessarily so."
