We know it is not wildly inaccurate, which I believe is the insinuation. Studies have been done simply looking at death rates year over year, and the death rates during the year+ of covid are consistent with undercounting, not overcounting - contrary to misinformation lore. And they are consistent with the death rates seen in other similar countries. Again, thes kinds of conspiracy theories almost always need global participation or they fall apart.

IOW, a lot more people died during covid than normal, MORE than can be accounted for by the recorded covid deaths. This points to a possible undercount, and makes irrational there was any sort of significant overcount.

Or it points to increased deaths from other causes, such as suicide, homicide, accidents, overdoses, inadequate medical care, or -- *ahem* -- VAERS-related causes.

A voting member of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory committee admitted Tuesday that whether or not Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine is safe for 5 to 11-year-old children won't be known fully until it begins being administered.

"We're never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it," said panel member Dr. Eric Rubin during the hearing. "That's just the way it goes."

What he said is true about every vaccine that has ever been created. And every drug.

You never know what the full set of side effects is until it is in public use. Because some side effects are one in a million or worse and there is not enough money or test subjects to flush them out ahead of time.

So "test" it on kids, who DON'T FLIPPIN' NEED IT.

Fantasy driven by paranoid conspiracy theories. This is a worldwide pandemic. The virus kills 2% or so of those that get test positive for it. 245 million diagnosed cases. 5 million associated dead. 2%.

The number in the US is 46.4 million diagnosed to 760,000 dead. 1.6% a little better than the worldwide average, which makes sense. We have very good medical care here.

That number simply can't accommodate any significant contribution by your presumed 'alternates'. What you need to explain what we see with your preferred alternates is a global conspiracy to inflate the numbers everywhere the virus is found.

Kids do need it. We give pretty much every other vaccine to kids, for a reason. And with no problems. This vaccine has been tested on almost 4 billion adults, and works well. It's been tested on a small number of kids to check there's no issues with kids, and there's no issues, so it seems extremely rational to start rolling it out for kids en masse.

To be fair, I never said Delta was the common cold, only pointed out the fact that the symptoms are so similar that the "experts" have emphatically warned anybody experiencing mild cold-like symptoms to get tested to see if they really have the China flu.
