It wasn't clear enough from their disclaimer? It was merely a telephone survey rather than an actual count of incidents against Asians.

Try reading the entire article for comprehension.

I did. If you are wanting to compare numbers you need actual data, not anecdotal data from random phone calls. You need to compare reported incidents from year to year.

It's a scientific survey, and numbers are compared.

It's not accurate and they admit it. I would hardly call it "scientific" - it was a telephone poll. of random people. and it didn't include homicides.

If you want to compare actual incidents you need to use actual reports of incidents, form the same sources from year to year.

They are pretty accurate, especially when it is a scientific survey going year to year to year and comparing between the years. That you don't know how scientific polling works is your issue, not mine.

And if you had read the entire article, you would have seen that the other other Reporting system, is also inaccurate

But randomly calling people means they don't know who they are calling or anything about them. They could end up calling a bunch of white people who have no idea about any Asian violence, for example. Or you could get people who lie or exaggerate. At least with actual crime reporting you are counting known incidents. The number if anything would be lower than actual incidents because not everyone reports it.

Thank you for continuing to show you have zero clue how scientific surveys/polling work.

I think you are looking in a mirror and talking to yourself.

I doubt that you have a grasp on reality about this....
