Unless there has been some recent change to their "software system," I find this explanation difficult to accept.

They've had the same problems before, but this time, the fecal matter really came forcefully into contact with the air circulation device.

This would have become apparent long ago during more obvious weather issues, or even last year when covid affected personnel being out sick. But it happens now, pretty much out of the blue. It doesn't make sense.

They've had their challenges, but not on this scale. So, yeah, there's something else going on.

It has something to do, apparently, with the union contract that won't allow Southwest pilots to keep sick time in conjunction with the vaccine mandate, so there are many who are "burning through" their sick time, using it up before quitting, since they otherwise would forfeit it.

I haven't been following the story closely, but if they're the only airline company to initiate such a mandate, then you'd think it would be open and shut why this is happening.

Just watched a pilot (he didn't mention his airline, on purpose) on Fox News saying that his and all major airlines are mandating the vaccine and he and other airline employees will be fired if they don't get the shot. So whether this was due to the vaccine mandate or not, it soon will be the case in all major airlines. and with all other major companies. Biden has just manufactured an artificial crisis. We already had a bad enough supply chain problem because of COVID, but now with his vaccine mandate nonsense, we are going to see an even bigger problem affecting all facets of our economy, from hospitals, to airlines. Thanks again Biden!
