Well, what's obvious is that you messed up again, and it seems physically impossible for you to admit it.

Aw, isn't that sweet --- the little has been waiting and waiting for an opportunity to use that line. How very precious.

I didn't "assume", sweetiecakes --- it's a conclusion based on your previous track record. And I DID ask, you doofus.

In that even as the war was wrapping up it had already turned into a race between the East and West in Europe, our picking up von Braun was definitely preferable to the Soviets getting him. IIRC, they had already rounded up virtually all his underlings and assistants.

So basically a practical utilization of Realpolitik principles.

The moral or ethical choice? I wouldn't argue so. Looking at whether it was right under a purely pragmatic lens could very well yield a different conclusion.

I'm coming to the conclusion that her constant "miscommunications" are in no way mistakes - but simply opportunities to drag the conversation off into yet another derail. Nobody's that ignorant, right?

                      RIGHT?

Aside from the desire to leave Afghanistan, name one decision that was made during the process that wasn't mistaken. Ranging from little mistakes to a series of colossal foul ups.

He didn't use slave labor here - he was invaluable to our space/rocket program.

Honestly, at this point, just don't assume she's going to be an honest discussion member. I don't think it really matters why at this point. Who cares WHY the bull wrecks stuff in the china shop, it's enough to know that he will.

As to your initial question, she is walking away in amusement.
