    so no answer but "whataboutism?"

If the next president reverses the tax hike, that's on them. It would be their decision to lose the government money and get into debt. Biden can't do anything about that any more than he could prevent them spending money in any other profligate way they chose.
So it means Biden knows this is a boondoggle that will end up costing everyone in the end.

    Maybe. So?
It means Biden is lying when he says it won't cost anything for anyone who makes under $400K.

Well good point in the sense that you'd think getting out of Afghanistan should result in savings on defense spending. Yet congress has, as per usual, increased defense spending. Which went through with, as usual, very few objections, and none of the people who claim to be concerned about the debt and deficit screaming "but how are we going to pay for it?!" It is suspicious that people who pretend to be concerned about the debt are always fine with spending more on the military but not fine with spending a small fraction of that on the American people. In general I regard the US's absurdly absurdly high level of defense spending as a horrible joke, and I would cut that budget by half and redirect all that money to spending on things to help the American people if I was running America. It's morally sick that the one thing all Republicans and most Dems agree on is much higher defense spending than the Pentagon asks for.
So rather than paying off debt, Biden is whining because the GOP won't approve of his wanting to borrow more.

If you ran your finances the way the US government ran the country, you would be in jail. It's a ponzi scheme, borrowing more and more to pay of the previous debts.

The thing I find hilarious to think about though is... what if it gets stolen between being minted and being cashed?
Sounds like the making of an Oceans 12 movie. Or more likely, an Austin Powers sequel, with Dr. Evil demanding "One TRILLION dollars!"

Watch the episode of the Simpsons with the trillion dollar bill. It is hilarious. One of my favorite lines from it is "All we have found out from satellite imagery is that it's not on the roof".

It would be an enormous black eye to the Biden administration, and likely the largest single "worthless" piece of stolen currency. Given that it would be the only coin of its type in existence, the holder wouldn't ever be able to spend it. The platinum it's made out of would be ~$1,000 so melting it down would be a huge waste (assuming it's a 1oz coin, and not the 71 million pound coin it would need to be for actual cash value).

At best a thief would have to keep it held and hidden, or try to sell it off to a collector of stolen things. At the end of the day, stealing it would probably be the dumbest thing someone could do if they were trying to make money.

If it was stolen they'd likely make another and claim the other is a counterfeit if it surfaced.
