  • Now its safe for MSM to admit censored Hunter Biden lap top story is authentic

When the New York Post broke the story about Hunter Biden's laptop being found at a pawn shop and some of the interesting content it contained, the MSM and Social Media immediately circled the wagons around old Joe and his miscreant youngest child. The story was removed from Social Media (censored) and the MSM pretty much pretended that they had no idea what everyone was talking about. They did this to help old Joe get elected. CNN was recently caught confirming they spiked stories, including this one, in order to avoid talking about the Biden scandals during the election.

Now that the demented duffer is in the White House it appears, much like admissions that Trump was actually very tough on Putin and the Russians, that they figure it is safe to tell the truth. Now, Politico is stepping forth and saying guess what, the story about Hunter's laptop wasn't Russian disinformation as the left pretended.

Source: Suddenly, Hunter Biden Scandals Are Real

In the last weeks before the 2020 election, the news media and the social media giants alike sought to squash, strangle and dissolve the New York Post stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop, and the secrets it contained.

There are two tracks of Hunter’s life to follow – the family-exploiting, buckraking public life, and then the dissolute drugs-and-strippers private life. Neither was considered fair game.

The same “accountability police” who rifled through the Trump family financial machinations had no interest in Hunter’s money-grubbing. The same tabloidish scoundrels who couldn’t get enough interviews with porn star Stormy Daniels and her creepy lawyer Michael Avenatti pretended there was zero clickbait in Hunter’s sordid exploits.

When Hunter came up, like during the impeachment in early 2020, “news” anchors like CNN’s John Berman gushed to Jill Biden: “You have called Hunter the heart and soul of the Biden family.” And: “As a mother how has it affected you?” (He should have said “as a stepmother” on the Facts First network.)

But then came that “aha” moment. Politico reporter Ben Schreckinger has a new book coming out simply titled The Bidens. It promises to explain how “Like the Kennedys before them, the Bidens are a tight-knit, idealistic Irish Catholic clan with good looks, dynastic ambitions, and serious personal problems.”

Politico’s “Playbook” newsletter proclaimed the new book by their reporter “finds evidence that some of the purported Hunter Biden laptop material is genuine, including two emails at the center of last October’s controversy.”

So now they report “a person who had independent access to Hunter Biden’s emails” confirmed Hunter received a 2015 email from a Ukrainian businessman “thanking him for the chance to meet Joe Biden.” He also confirmed a 2017 email in which a proposed breakdown of a venture with Chinese energy executives which includes the line, “10 held by H for the big guy?” Everyone can guess Papa Joe is the “big guy.”

On October 23, 2020, businessman Tony Bobulinski held a press conference to discuss the Biden family business venture in China. The networks ignored him. On October 27, he gave an hour-long interview to Fox News. The networks ignored him.

The “fact checkers” doubled down on the media hostility. PolitiFact rained skepticism: "Credible news organizations have found no evidence to corroborate [Tony] Bobulinski’s claims about a role in the proposed venture for Joe Biden." That presumes the media had any desire to corroborate this story, instead of ignore or "debunk" it.

The liberal media’s position is clear. News about Democrat scandals isn’t “confirmed” or “substantiated” until they decide it is. They have an exquisite sense of timing – and delaying. Some of them now think it’s “safe” to confirm Hunter Biden’s emails, at least to allow the selling of books.

Schreckinger’s book promises to offer more reporting on the Biden family – on Joe’s sister Valerie; on his brothers Jim and Frank; and we can guess his daughter Ashley and her husband, Howard Krein. There are a lot of business dealings and political fixings that the “news” people couldn’t quite find in 2019 and 2020. Most Americans – even news readers and watchers – might not know President Biden has siblings, or a son-in-law.

Maybe we should think of Billy Carter, or Roger Clinton....except with the Biden brothers, Joe might be the most embarrassing one.

I can’t put this the media performance better than National Review’s David Harsanyi did: “It speaks poorly of the nation’s political media that Americans have a better chance of learning what Joe Biden’s favorite ice-cream flavor is than whether he knew about, or cashed in on, his son’s corrupt adventures.”

Maybe they'll finally start taking Hunter's comment to his sister about how a tenth of what he manages to rake in living off the Biden name goes to "the Big Guy" -- old Joe himself -- seriously. And maybe a second look at Hunter's "art auction."

I also read that Biden may have dodged 500k of taxes by using an S corporation. I'm sure the Dems would want to investigate that.

      Old Joe or Hunter?

In any case it was Joe who proclaimed paying higher taxes was "patriotic."

So, all the "fact checkers" are going to admit they were wrong, yes?

It's like that famous quote from Barack Obama:

"Now is the time for all Americans to reach deep into their pockets to help those less fortunate than themselves. You go first!"

(Note: may not be an actual quote from Barack Obama)

Reminds me of the old moonshiners....

One of them pulled a gun on his buddy and said, "here, take a drink of this" (new batch of moonshine)
After his buddy takes a drink and does a backflip and lets out a holler, the first guy says, "now, hold this gun on me and make me take a drink".

Some of these liberals seem to think they have to be FORCED by law into increasing their tax contributions - like JimL claimed "there is no mechanism for people to give voluntarily to the government" - which, of course, was quickly proven to be false by yours truly.

They had an excuse to propagate the lie it wasn't true because the intelligence community told them it wasn't true.

Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say

It reminds you of the Lancet "scientific declaration" headed by Peter Daszak declaring the lab leak theory a racist conspiracy theory. It's to the point we can't trust the intelligence community anymore than we can trust the scientific community.

Sure, but a lot of them held superior positions. It goes to show you the character of those who once headed the most powerful intelligence organizations in the world.

Ever since I discovered that Obama's director of the CIA voted for the Communist candidate for president[1] back during the Cold War I haven't been surprised by much of what is coming out about our intelligence community.

The two emails — published by Insider on Thursday — date back to 2015, when Joe Biden was vice president, and reference getting Hunter’s help on a deal regarding billions in Libyan assets frozen by the Obama administration.

The emails are unrelated to Hunter’s infamous laptop.

In the first email, dated Jan. 28, 2015, Democratic donor Sam Jauhari repeatedly referred to Hunter as “#2 son” — an apparent reference to Joe Biden’s VP role at the time — and noted that Hunter had requested a $2 million retainer.

The business contact listed a string of positives to working with Hunter, including his business relationship with Kerry’s stepson Chris Heinz and Hunter’s apparent self-proclaimed high-level access in China.

“Per phone conversation I met with #2 son. He wants $2 per year retainer +++ success fees. He wants to hire his own people – it can be close circle of people for confidentiality. His dad is deciding to run or not,” the email said.

“His positives are he is Chairman of UN World Food Program, son of #2 who has Libya file, access to State, Treasury, business partner SofS [Secretary of State] J. [John] Forbes K [Kerry] son and since he travels with dad he is connected everywhere in Europe and Asia where M. Q. [Muammar Qaddafi] and LIA [Libya Investment Authority] had money frozen. He said he has access to highest level in PRC [China], he can help there.”

That email, which was sent to fellow Democratic donor Sheikh Mohammed al-Rahbani, also flagged the “negatives” to enlisting Hunter’s help.

“He is alcoholic, drug addict – kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches,” the email said. Hunter was actually discharged from the US Naval Reserve in 2014, not the Army as the email suggested.

Adam Schiff and other Democrat congress people also latched on to that lie; of course, which is certainly no surprise to us because we know folks like Schiff are political filth. But, as much as I deplore the MSM, the onus isn't so much on the media this time than on other authoritative institutions that mislead the public.

In January 2015 Beau Biden was still alive (he died in May of that year) so the reference to Hunter as "#2 son" might be about Hunter being the younger son. Kinda like how Charlie Chan would refer to his many children in that manner.

                            Doesn't really change anything though.

Never mind. Just saw the "son of #2" quote.

Though this was in the source you linked to that I wasn't aware of, so it looks like it did involve those that were working in the intelligence community at the time...

That same day, The New York Times ran a report sounding the alarm about "Russian disinformation," claiming that President Donald Trump was warned that Russians were "using" his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who was given the laptop before providing its contents to the press, to spread false claims about the Bidens.

"The intelligence agencies warned the White House late last year that Russian intelligence officers were using President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani as a conduit for disinformation aimed at undermining Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s presidential run, according to four current and former American officials," the Times reported at the time.
I'm not sure if that postdates the laptop story or not, but that would a heck of coincidence if it wasn't somehow related.
