Right? Washington makes sure that nobody makes a completely uninformed decision because the campaigns get one page each to everyone in the state all at the same time!

For those interested, I have filed a Federal Civil Rights lawsuit in CO. You can view the suit here: http://independentpoliticalreport.co...itical-speech/

The motion for Temporary Restraining Order is set for 11/2/16.

Thank you. CO's law is even more onerous, preventing disclosing by any means who you voted for or saying who you believe anyone else voted for.

Oregon is mail in, too, but they have drop-off points that make it super easy. Oregon seems to handle voting really intelligently.
No the actual ballot is powerful. And the state doesn't get to restrict my political speech this way. This law needs to die in a fire and I am happy to light the match.

Rather than just saying so, perhaps attempt to explain? I fail to see how it matters even a little.

It is a tangible connection. People react to that. Further, I don't have to justify why I prefer a certain method of expressing my free speech.

                      I didn't suggest you were.

I don't get the power of it though, you know?

All my ballot selfies are at the free county pickup location so technically it's the SASE anyone's actually seeing.

I do since I use social media in my role as Communications Director - the actual thing is pretty compelling.

But then again some people think the "Piss Jesus" was compelling. I don't. But they have the right to do it with their right to free expression.

so not only can't you show your ballot, you can't even SAY who you voted for, after you vote? Who the heck came up with that law?

                              So much for "exit polling".
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

So apparently the reason you are not allowed to take a selfie with a completed ballot is supposed to be to prevent coercion. Like if someone held a gun to your wife's head and said, vote Clinton and take a selfie proving it, or you wife gets it.
