The communist dictatorship clearly believes that by outlawing chicken it can break the will of the populace to resist.

Knives were recently removed from supermarket shelves due to their potential use as a weapon. Guns have previously been removed from the populace. The government is clearly clamping down on all possible avenues of resistance.

The Prime Minister also recently ordered people not to even talk to their neighbors.

In NY, Governor Hochul issued a mandate that all health care works will be vaccinated or lose their jobs. There is no religious exemption or testing alternative. The mandate goes into effect Monday.

In the counties around me, the percent of health care workers vaccinated goes from about 70% to 85%. Of course, this isn't 100%. The majority of nursing homes in the area have stopped accepting new patients because of staffing concerns. The local community hospital is running at about 60% capacity for the same reason. I had a doctor's appointment earlier this week and in our conversation he mentioned hospitals are getting close to cancelling all elective surgeries because of a Covid surge in the region.

The governor is standing firm on the mandate despite pleas from the hospitals and nursing homes to relax it. She says they are trying to find health care workers in the community to start working at hospitals and nursing homes and looking into getting green cards for foreign workers to come in. I'd be surprised to learn there is a big pool of health care workers, who are fully vaccinated, to come in and getting foreigners to come in will take time.

To get no-Covid in NY, it sure looks like Governor Hochul is willing to break the health care system in NY.

One of my local hospital groups is suspending scheduling elective surgery for two weeks starting Monday.

The NY State Health Commissioner, who was a big supporter of Governor Saint Cuomo the Great, has submitted his resignation.

Because apparently the government doesn't believe it works like other vaccines, because they want people to keep wearing masks and acting as if they had ZERO immunity and that unvaccinated people are endangering them.

The government believes it works like other vaccines, but that this disease is not like other diseases.

They want people to keep wearing masks because, even though vaccinated, there is a risk that they can be infected*, and a risk that they can infect others*, and that if infected, there is a risk that they could become seriously ill and die*.

Pretty much if you are vaccinated and get sick, you will fare no worse than getting a flu. Just like the flu there is always a chance you could end up in the hospital or even die, but we don't shut down the entire country and make everyone wear masks even if they are vaccinated for the typical yearly flu. So all this locking down and vaccinated people acting as if they were as unsafe as unvaccinated people, and the government pushing that narrative is a complete overreaction.

If you get the flu shot you don't worry about everyone who didn't.

And yet when you look at areas of the world where there is high vaccine compliance, we're not seeing any significant reduction in the number of China flu cases compared to low compliance areas along with high rates of the "fully vaccinated" ending up in the hospital. So unfortunately, the science doesn't support your just-so anecdotes.

Of course you're among the vaccinated, if my memory serves me, so you are likely finding it difficult to look at the data objectively.
