Hysterical reports of mass deaths by blood clotting, etc that frightened so folks off vaccination.
But the UK was lucky when compared with EU countries, where large %s of the population refused the Jabs.
In the UK 80+% of the adult population did accept vaccination and that is why the UK has lower hospital admissions and less deaths per day, even though the Delta strain is all over.

In this case, it's actually a lie by them (at the very least a lie by omission) - Thomas Massie called them on the wrong info on their website, and talked to at least two people at the CDC who admitted the info on the site was wrong wrt natural immunity and vaccines, and claimed they would work to get it changed (they haven't). Even has the convos recorded.

Interestingly, the report now includes a corrected statement that is true, but I'll bet Massie is still not happy with it.

It appears that Massie wanted them to say that the study showed that the vaccine is not efficacious for those who have recovered from infection.

But I don't think that would be true, because of the small number of previously infected people in the study.
