This guy became sheriff in the middle of the covid fiasco. He has observed the tendency of the politicians to take power when they have the opportunity. This has become an epidemic.

The sheriff is the last level of defense against the growing oppression. However, the sheriff must be willing to act of his own mind rather than be pushed by the pressures around him -- i.e., to simply conform to what other governments and sheriffs are doing.
