Anger that is sinful, on the other hand, is anger that is self-defensive and self-serving, that is resentful of what is done against oneself. It is the anger that leads to murder and to God's judgment (Matt. 5:21-22), so that we want to punch somebody and burn stuff down.

I think Moore just can't take the heat she's getting due to her false teaching and is getting out of the Twitter kitchen.
I think that is far too narrow an application, and is unrealistic in terms of expectation of others or one's self. Anger that is sinful is anger that produces sinful action or is nutured to form bitterness or resentment. But anger itself is just a natural human reaction to a perceived threat. What we do with the anger is what makes it sinful or not.
My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

Evangelicalism’s Strong History of Women in Ministry

The title sums it up well. The author documents the fact that Evangelicalism (and even Fundamentalism ) had a strong "feminist" component from the earliest days, and that the patriarchal view now seen as traditional is more of a recent pushback motivated by the extremes of secular feminism. (No, it does not by any means claim that Evangelicalism was ever exclusively or even predominantly feminist, but suggests that acceptance of women in all areas of ministry was much less controversial in previous centuries than it is today.)

A brief point well worth noting comes near the end: Theologically, a big part of the controversy is the choice of which inerrant texts are prioritized: 1 Tim. 2:11-12 and 1 Cor. 14:34-35 vs. Acts 2:17-18 and Gal. 3:28.

In the case of the Southern Baptists (the main focus of this thread), it goes back to the late '70s and '80s, and involves the conservative resurgence thereof.
Beth Moore was very much part of the SBC during the time in which one of the issues was the ordination of women, and she was not battling that at the time.
It's only been recently that she has taken exception to the fundamentals with which she previously appeared to have no problem.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.
