I hope these scandals force Cuomo out.
What you conservatives don't appear to understand is that Cuomo has a history of supporting Republicans in the NY Senate in order to block progressive bills. You guys tend to think of NY as a 'blue state' but actually Republicans have had full or joint control of the NY Senate for 8 of the last 10 years, enabled and assisted by Cuomo (who arranged for NY Senate Dems to betray their own party and go into coalition with NY Senate Republicans to give those Republicans the power to veto progressive legislation in NY).
Simply put, Cuomo was a traitor to his party, and a huge force keeping NY from passing progressive bills.
Fortunately in the last elections the NY Senate Dems had a resounding win. If Cuomo is forced out now and replaced with a progressive, then the state will become a properly 'blue state' and you'll start to see a huge variety of progressive bills actually passing in NY. I think you'll find that once NY starts passing numerous progressive priorities, there will become increasing pressure for them to be passed at a federal level.
So I agree with you conservatives in hoping that Cuomo's failed handling of Covid and his sexual harrassment scandals force him out of office. But I think the outcomes will be extremely good for progressives, and as a result, the country as a whole."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

CNN is really getting into this...
Third female former staffer accused New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of inappropriate conduct, Wall Street Journal reports
It's like they try really really hard to ignore a story, then when it breaks nationally, they go into full gear trying to catch up.
By Hollie Silverman and Sonia Moghe, CNN 38 mins ago
A third female former staffer has come forward with accusations of inappropriate conduct by embattled New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, according to reporting by the Wall Street Journal on Saturday night.
The Democratic governor already stands accused of sexual harassment by two women and unwanted advances against him by a third.
A former aide for Cuomo, Ana Liss, told The Wall Street Journal that the governor "asked her if she had a boyfriend, called her sweetheart, touched her on her lower back at a reception and once kissed her hand when she rose from her desk."
CNN has reached out to Liss for comment.
Cuomo apologized earlier this month for making people uncomfortable and denied touching people inappropriately.
"I never touched anyone inappropriately. I never touched anyone inappropriately," Cuomo said in his first public remarks addressing the scandal. "I never knew at the time that I was making anyone feel uncomfortable. I never knew at the time I was making anyone feel uncomfortable."
Cuomo said during an appearance Wednesday that he was learning from his behavior.
"I understand that sensitivities have changed, and behavior has changed, and I get it. And I'm going to learn from it," he said.
Liss served as a policy and operations aide to Cuomo from 2013 to 2015, according to the Journal.
Liss initially thought of Cuomo's action as "harmless flirtations," but she began to see it as "patronizing," according to the Journal.
"It's not appropriate, really, in any setting," she told the Journal. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

According to this morning's news, we're now up to five accusers.
I think Cuomo could have survived either Covid or harassment but he can't survive both."For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings." Hosea 6:6

Well, he probably could have survived Covid by itself. Harassment > Nursing home deaths, unfortunately.
And now the Wall Street Journal is reporting that some of Cuomo's top advisors pressured "state health officials to strip a public report of data showing that more nursing-home residents had died of Covid-19 than the administration had acknowledged." That they actively altered data in an official health report to benefit Cuomo politically.
And maybe for other reasons. As they say, follow the money. At the same time Cuomo's aides were covering up the nursing home fatality numbers Cuomo himself was negotiating a book deal with Harper Collins, which might not have ponied up a $783,000 advance if they knew the real numbers.
Back to his scandals, it should be known that Cuomo aggressively pushed Kavanaugh to take polygraph tests concerning the allegations surrounding him, but is silent over he will submit to them. If he does I imagine he'll use the old politician's trick of not saying anything about it and doing so in secret. That way the results can be tossed in the trash if he fails, and nobody will be the wiser. And that way he also doesn't have the pressure of having to release the results hanging over him, that will make the polygraph even more inefficient.
Finally, last Sunday Cuomo denied wrongdoing, but offered an apology to those who misunderstood his "levity and banter" as "unwanted flirtation."
