The Russian and Chinese atrocities are not left out of the articles on Russia and China. You are comparing two different things.

If they don't - and a quick look suggests they don't* - there's no bias and no discrimination, just a somewhat odd policy, and the author of the article is merely showing his own bias.

*The page on Nazism does, but that one is possibly more germane than the others since genocide was central to the ideology.
While not necessarily a goal of his policies Mao readily admitted that in order to accomplish them "half of China may well have to die. If not half, one-third, or one-tenth -- 50 million -- die."

And genocide against the Ukrainians appears to have been the goal of Stalin's Holodomor (terror Famine).

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

I don't know enough about Stalin's Holodomor to comment. But a quick look suggests that it, like Mao's policies, doesn't have any relevance to the point I was making.

If Smith hates everyone, and Jones says "Smith hates Jews", which of them is biased?

It largely depends. Wikipedia is generally pretty good when the topics are not political/idealogical in nature. The larger problem is when these partisan wars bleed over to areas that have partisan attention. Then you have people editing with bias in mind.

Wikipedia Co-Founder Launching Competitor Due To Wikipedia’s Left-Wing Bias

Wikipedia Co-Founder Larry Sanger announced he is starting an alternative to Wikipedia due to the fact they have been taken over by the left.

Sanger told Just the News that his new, forthcoming project, called “Encyclosphere,” is a decentralized network of the world’s encyclopedias, what he called “an old-fashioned, leaderless, ownerless network, like the blogosphere.”

Sanger said just as there are no administrators in the blogosphere, “in the same way, I want to create a protocol that very loosely ties all the encyclopedias online together.”

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

So it will be like a meta-wikipedia? How does he think he will stop the same thing from happening there?

Maybe he's gonna vet the contributors?

"decentralized network of the world’s encyclopedias" sounds like it will just be some sort of meta-search engine for other online encyclopedias.

That makes a lot more sense!
