Donald Trump Jr. has been pretending to be outraged about hedge funding, and soon his father will begin crowing that’s he’s being persecuted for “draining the swamp.” Rigggghht.

Here’s an article about Trump’s treasury pick being a well known player in hedge funding which Jr. is now, conveniently, pretending to decry:

I know it might be annoying, but Jr. brought the issue to the fore criticizing hedge funding while ignoring that his dad literally appointed a hedge fund manager to treasury secretary. That’s the epitome of “drain the swamp,” which I find equally annoying as “OMB.”

The date of the article doesn’t change anything, unless you can make the case that Mnuchin expressed contrition since then.
