    Hi.....
    Surely.....
It's a strange situation when some of the richest companies in the World are accused of being 'leftist' when they make decisions which 'rightists' don't approve of.

A clear example of 'rightists' branding folks and companies and even whole continents 'leftist' is the recent situation where so many Republican leaders are now turning away from President Trump's talk and actions. They've all become 'leftists'.!!!!

It would be funny if it wasn't so sinister..... oh, that means 'left' of course.

So the rules seem to be.....
If others provoke crimes then this is bad.
If our own provoke crimes then this is right-eous.
If we should ban content then this is lawful.
If they ban content then it is anti free speech.

It goes on...... Political tribalism on both extreme left and extreme right, but at this time it's the extreme right, I think.

Oh I'm sure that'll be the talking point. Some variation of "or the terrorists will win"

This gives liberals tcover for all sorts of authoritarian moves, all under the cover of a convenient boogeyman that they believe they can shame the elected GOP into submission with.

You and the left have only promoted hatred for the last four years, and you promote hatred now.

I've mentioned it elsewhere, I don't use any of the social media that is at issue so I don't personally notice it or even care. But these mega-companies with billions of dollars are squeezing out competition, so reforms are necessary. It's illegal.

There are plenty of wealthy Republicans who are free to make superior social media sites if conservatives believe they're facing injustice. Aren't you a libertarian? Why do you care about private companies deciding what customers to serve?
Oh, I agree that competition is the answer, but they need to be allowed to operate. A cartel of billionaires forcing other companies to play their games or be silenced is a disaster.

I'm not so sure about that. I just got through reading about socialists complaining about how Google has censored NYT's 1619 Project.

              https://www.foxnews.com/politics/soc...sorship-google

IMO, it's basically billionaires deciding what the rest of the world should consider. I consider the 1619 Project as trash, but should Google make that decision for me? We need Internet laws reformed.

Speaking out against injustice - especially in the form of institutional racism that is manifest in unjust killings by police - is not promoting hatred.

Though it does tend to expose a lot of it. Hatred from those that are being targeted. And hatred from those doing the targetting.

What I promote right now is getting rid of a leader that has committed sedition and treason as he has tried to illegally retain power.

What I promote no and always is the truth and the rejection of corruption, especially at the extreme level presented by the current president.
My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism. James 2:1

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not  bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless James 1:26

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; James 1:19

You have the right to call it anything you want Maranatha. There is no law against being wrong. It is just something most people try to avoid.

Sure, you have a right to be hateful. There is no human law against it. Most try to avoid it.

Creating an environment where more companies have a shot at it.

Collectively forcing companies to bend to their will or be shut off the Internet is illegal. It is antitrust behavior.
