That's more complicated to determine than a simple count of who got prison sentences and who didn't. That needs sources, it needs methodology, it needs details.

By contrast, a count of indicted officials is just a count. We know a lot of Trump's people are in prison or currently facing charges - his personal lawyer, his senior political advisor, his campaign chief etc. We know Nixon did bad things in Watergate and a whole lot of his people went to prison as a result. We know Reagan did bad things in Iran-Contra, and people were found guilty as a result. Simply counting up the total number of prosecutions, convictions and prison sentences is tedious but not controversial. It's reporting on known information, as opposed to trying to create new information (e.g. like trying to determine who was and wasn't an adulterer), so its simpler and less error prone.

And, to be frank about it, since you're pushing the subject: The right-wing in the US are a bunch of absolutely pathological liars, who have an IQ slightly lower than a pile of rocks. Experience tells me they are not psychologically capable of reporting any form of accurate data. They lie. They get things wrong. All the time. Almost everything Breitbart ever published is false and most of them seem to be deliberate lies. Every second thing Fox News says is false. The right wing's relationship with truth is more distant than my relationship with the planet mars.

By contrast, on average the left wing is truthful and intelligent. That's not to say there's not exceptions. But on the whole, left wing people and sources care about truth and focus on reporting it accurately. There's a big difference between the two sides in the US. The left is truth focused and the right-wing are a bunch of moronic liars (and criminals, as per the earlier point).

It goes to show that conservatives in general are not nearly as vindictive as those on the left.
It goes to show there was not actually any legitimately prosecutable material and those who said there was were lying about it, as evidenced by their willingness to say one thing on TV but in practice to not actually take any case on the subject.

Lindsey’s heinous crimes are discussed here, at about 51 minutes:

Earlier they discuss why Repubs are so into signature matching.

And what was my next sentence? "That's not to say there's not exceptions." Seth Abrahamson is a wacko.

One of the areas I've observed US right-wingers to be particularly bad at is statistical reasoning, especially regarding the accuracy of sources.

Consider two sources, source A which gets things right 99% of the time, and source B which gets things right 10% of the time. Right wingers will cite one instance of source A making a mistake as proof that source A is a bad source, and that therefore instead they ought to instead follow source B. And then they will proceed to never fact-check source B and credulously believe it. And they will deceive themselves into thinking they're really critical thinkers who carefully select their sources because they will repeat over and over again how they saw source A make that error and how people who trust source A are so gullible, all the while credulously believing everything the extremely error-prone source B tells them.

I see that failing over and over again in this forum and elsewhere among US right-wingers. It appears to relate to a deficiency in their ability to reason statistically. Instead they appear to reason only by anecdotes, assume that sources have to be infallible to be trustworthy, and never ever question sources they've decided to trust (e.g. Fox, Breitbart, the Bible etc). Seems to be a product of their low IQ and lack of education.

"Solicitation" is the legal term for crimes of this sort. There are things it's illegal to ask for, or to request that someone do..

But not according to Keith Pickering / Daily Kos (the highlighted portion)

Daily Kos was the source for the Abrahamson report.

You're building a strawman. Where did I (or anyone on here) recommend a different source for you? Just because I think A stinks doesn't mean that I think something else is 100% trustworthy. I've never recommended any source.

Wow. That's a whole lot of justification on why you're a superior being. Should I bow in your presence?

A bunch of scientists are brilliant in their field of expertise and absolute morons outside of it, which doesn't stop them from pontificating on things they are woefully ignorant on.

Look at the molecular biologist Francis Crick for just one example. He earned a Nobel Prize in in Physiology or Medicine in 1962 for his work on discovering the helical structure of DNA. He also was a proponent of the idea that life on the Earth was the result of extraterrestrial civilizations seeding the planet with the building blocks of life (directed panspermia). He was also still promoting eugenics long after it had been discredited as well as claiming that black Africans are less intelligent than whites.

Likewise, Kary Mullis, who won the 1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry has promoted astrology and became an HIV/AIDs denier.

And then of course there is you.

I'm always still in trouble again

Bobby Fischer comes to mind. A brilliant tactician when it came to chess, but nearly insane due to his brainwashing. He was so convinced that conspiratorial Jews were running America that he applauded 9/11 as retribution for it.

I had an instructor in college who was a certified genius, could speak multiple languages with native-like fluency, an absolutely brilliant lighting director who was in demand all across the country, yet he couldn't figure out how to operate a simple VCR.

Speaking of chess masters, Jonathan Sarfati who is an International Chess Federation master[1], and who has a PhD in chemistry is probably more famous for his ardent support of Young Earth Creationism. I should note that he used to to be a regular poster here under the name Socrates until he got banned for his behavior.
