Geez, if you want to talk about "betrayal" you need look no further than Hillary Clinton leaving Americans dangling in the wind in Benghazi. Get some perspective. If you're going to get weepy you should do it over American deaths.
Unbelievably false. Go back to the facts of the US troop withdrawal and the consequences. The remaining troops are there to protect the oil fields. Your foolish notion of "The US was not obligated to hold their hand for eternity." is meaningless rhetoric. It is a fact that when the USA moved out the Turks slaughtered Kurds and the Russians moved in.

I saw this on twitter today and made me think of this thread...

            Qualifications.PNG

On the one hand, Rubio is pretending that Biden hiring qualified people is a negative (and arguably falsely implying this is a point of difference to the Republican administrations), and on the other hand, pretty much all the people in the Trump admin also had qualifications from decent schools and we can be rightly horrified by their disastrous administration.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

The 'left' of course exists, but what are you calling the left? The Democratic Party has a wide range of political beliefs that are what some call the left. Bernie Sanders could not get elected beyond his own state,

I believe you are not acknowledging the extreme right, and racist organizations that enthusiastically supported Trump, and Trump openly endorsed their support, because 'they like me.'

The Russians were already there. They moved in in 2015 to prop up Assad and have been there ever since.

According to your logic, we should never leave Afghanistan either because we have to protect them from the Taliban. Where else should the US stay forever?

They were NOT in the region controling the North along the Turkish border. Trump acknowledged the Russians move in when the US troops moved out and had a much greater control of the region.
