Former White House chief of staff tells friends that Trump 'is the most flawed person' he's ever met
This isn't just a random who's worked with Trump, this is his Chief of Staff, and a military general. And he's not just saying Trump's not perfect, he's saying that Trump is the worst, literally that he's never ever met somebody as bad as the guy that's running the country.
This isn't normal 'sour grapes'. I've noticed Trump supporters dismissing the things said by all the ex Trump staff with a wave of the hand and a claim that they dislike Trump because he fired them. But people have left Presidential administrations before, people have been fired before, and they didn't say these sorts of things.
Under Obama, the scandal was when Secretary of Labor Robert Reich left the administration and wrote a book expressing mild annoyance that Obama's policies weren't as progressive as Reich would have liked them to have been. He didn't say Obama was a terrible person, just that Reich and Obama didn't agree on all their political policies. Whereas the ex Trump people consistently tell us that Trump is a terrible guy.
Kelly's statement that Trump "is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life" is unpresidented. And from a Chief of Staff and military general no less.
Former White House chief of staff, retired Marine Gen. John Kelly, has told friends that President Donald Trump "is the most flawed person" he's ever known.
"The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it's more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life," the retired Marine general has told friends, CNN has learned.
