  • According to Bobulinski, Joe was fully aware of his son's business dealings, and when Bobulinski once asked Jim Biden how they were able to get away with all of the shady deals and obvious conflicts of interest within the Obama administration, Jim Biden laughed and said, "Plausible deniability."

"Yes" to the first sentence, and "no" to the second.

But that aside I think there is plenty of reason for Putin to want to know about this investigation. That's true if the democrats are right and Trump conspired with Russia and also if the republicans are right and no one has been tougher on Russia than Trump.
Having such information would be handy. But I operate under the assumption that Russia has enough domestic and local concerns that outweigh learning about Hunter Biden.

Great, so where's the evidence? Tony handed over his devices, right? I'm sure he pointed people to the relevant stuff and didn't just ask them to find it.

        • I recommend interested parties take a look at this interview clip with Rudy from today. Now there are three repaired laptops. And he's so obviously lying when answering about breaking the encryption on the laptop files. Also at 3:30 he's in the process of denying ever meeting with an Ukranian lawmaker until the interviewer mentions that Rudy met with him and Rudy switches to admitting he met with him. Rudy is out of his mind.

As Treebeard would say, "Don't be hasty."

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has been successful in verifying all materials reviewed so far from Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner Tony Bobulinski, the Daily Caller has learned.

Committee Chairman Sen. Ron Johnson will not call Bobulinski to testify before the November 3 elections, as the committee is working to review all the information provided to the committee by Bobulinski. The information has to be verified, as it is subject to the same false information to Congress laws that verbal or written testimony does. However, a Johnson spokesperson told the Caller that all the material provided by Bobulinski that has been reviewed so far has turned out to be legitimate. The committee has “also” not come across any “signs” or evidence to suggest the content is false, the spokesperson added.

Bobulinski, who said Tuesday he believes “Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised” in an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, has turned over evidence to the FBI alleging he met twice in the past with the former vice president in regards to business with his son Hunter. The Biden family has not yet disputed this information.

            • Tucker just claimed that his damning Hunter evidence was just literally (literally literally) stolen in the mail. Just can't catch a break.

                The dog ate his homework.

There will be viewers that fall for it too.

Remember back to last month how Tucker's lawyers argued in court that he doesn't tell the truth on his show, and that this should be obvious to his audience, and so if he slandered someone on his show it doesn't matter because nobody believes a word that comes out of his mouth? And the judge in the the court case agreed:

"Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."

"[The] 'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' "

Maybe "not stating actual facts" and "non-literal commentary" are what Rogue and MM do in their posts on this forum. Good euphemisms for blatant lying.

"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

It's a pretty crazy story. He said they had the documents sent from New York to Los Angeles via a well-known shipping service, but at some point along the way, the parcel was opened, and the documents removed. The company in question did a thorough search throughout all facilities that the package passed through, interviewed multiple employees who had the opportunity to come in direct contact with it, and have turned up nothing. Carlson said, "As of tonight, the company has no idea, and no working theory even, about what happened to this trove of materials, documents that are directly relevant to the presidential campaign just six days from now. We spoke to executives at that company a few hours ago. They seemed baffled and deeply bothered by this, and so are we."

I sure hope they were at least smart enough to make a copy of the documents before they sent them.

                  • That was essentially the same argument Rachel Maddow's lawyers made when she was sued, saying that nothing she says on the air should be mistaken for a statement of fact.

                    • Jim Biden refused to answer any questions about his family's scandals, simply saying "no comment". It's curious, whenever they are given the opportunity to directly deny it, they decline.

Yep, and it continues to get no coverage. Seems like they're making the right move. But he did pretty much deny it at the debate when he said never received even a dollar from foreign sources.

How much do you want to bet that they don't produce these documents at any point? And he does have copies since he said they gave pictures of the documents to the company to use in looking for the originals.

And you know if the family name was Trump that this would be getting wall-to-wall coverage, but since it's the Biden crime family, the media is studiously ignoring it despite the evidence that has been piling up.

Maybe, maybe not. All I'm saying is that their media strategy seems to be working.

This post is not aging well at all.

A Department of Justice (DOJ) official confirmed Thursday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) opened a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden and his associates in 2019, focused on allegations of money-laundering, and that it remains “open and active,” according to Sinclair investigative reporter James Rosen.

                                [...]

Previously, the DOJ had confirmed to Breitbart News and other outlets that the FBI had possession of the laptop with the hard drive containing thousands of Hunter Biden’s emails where he discussed his international business dealings.

Hunter Biden has been involved in at least several questionable business endeavors.

                                https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ey-laundering/

Jamal Brown, Joe Biden's national press secretary, gave an interview to Cheddar on Thursday in which the Biden spokesman refused to answer questions regarding the apparent pay-to-play scheme involving Joe Biden and his family. According to the spokesman, the whole scandal is nothing more than a "distraction" and a "smear campaign."

"I was curious if that was still your position that because we saw big tech react the way they did on the New York Post story that the allegations in it are off the table, they are false as far you're concerned?" the Cheddar host asked.

"Look, we're not going to waste any seconds on this smear campaign," Brown said. "If we want to talk about corruption, let's look at Donald Trump...It's another distraction. We need to keep our eyes on the prize. We have five days to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next president and next vice president of the United States and to send Donald Trump packing."

Notice the spokesman did not say the allegations against the Bidens are false.
