I'm glad your recognized that much. I guess you just intended to post the least intelligent part of the article?

The article simplifies the world to the least accurate but most black and white description of the situation. But there is not much that can sway you from your fascination with such simplistic explanations of things.

This is more of a propaganda piece than an intellectual study of anything. But, hey! If indoctrination to propaganda is your sort of thing, keep up on the latest.

Or maybe you can elaborate on what connections this article has to the situation in the US. (I'm afraid that the Brazilian topics would be only be followed with a superficial view of the dynamics involved.)

I haven't the slightest idea what you are writing about. If you only wish to make abusive remarks I politely request you cease posting to this thread.

Not quite. My goal in part is to make you figure out and explain what you think the argument is. The article makes fallacious connections and disregards the claims of the BLM of its Marxist training. The article does not address the willingness of state governors to allow free reign by Marxist-led groups to disrupt and burn down parts of the cities. This does not mean that everyone in the BLM protests is Marxist. However, the disruption can readily accommodate dupes (even ones with real actual complaints of being mistreated by racists).

I repeat, the article is not just about the USA. Read it and then you will be equipped to make a relevant remark that relates to the entire article.

She's like the female version of another occasional poster here who goes by carpdm#### (I don't remember the numbers in his username). He, too, cries foul whenever you try to pin him down in an argument, or ask him to clarify something. But to his credit, he is slightly less insufferably arrogant than Hyper_Alexander.

They've built a culture of fear and anger, so they need a group to oppose, even if they have to hallucinate one.The US nationalist right is stupid, uneducated, and ignorant of the world, so it doesn't matter if the chosen group doesn't actually exist because this group of people isn't sufficiently in touch with the real world to tell the difference. "Communists" fills that role nicely. Also "Communist" is a trigger-word in the psyche of many elderly indoctrinated uneducated Americans, from Red Scares back in the day. Also, since none of them really know what the word means, it's usefully vague, which means they can label anyone and everyone they want to be their enemy with the label 'communist', and there's no criteria that person needs to meet to be 'communist'.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

There was a 3 part BBC documentary close to two decades ago, The Power of Nightmares. It chronicled and theorized about the rise of the US neoconservative movement up to the US invasion of Iraq. The idea was that US conservatives were given an enemy to be afraid of (re. Islamism/Islamists), which resulted in the ascendance of Republican political power here in the US.

The documentary is not without controversy, so I'm not quite advocating that it should be accepted uncritically - but your above quote touches on a number of themes in that documentary. He's a link to the first part on Youtube:

I hate to tell you what has been known for a long time. The BLM leaders were trained Marxists. What do you say of that fact? You continue on in the discussion as if this were unimportant.
