Coursera offers specializations where you can take a series of classes and perform a 'senior' project to earn a certificate. You can also just take the classes in the recommended order for free (which is what I do). There's one I found today called Perception, Action and the Brain. The first course is "Foundational Neuroscience for Perception and Action". It starts March 30th, and it covers basic neuroanatomy. The other two classes are called "The Brain and Space" and "Visual Perception and the Brain". Both of these look to be pretty interesting. Both go into depth regarding how our brain processes the world around us.
I find this sort of information fascinating anyway, but I really think it's important to have a good foundation/understanding in what's being claimed before serious discussion can be had. I'm intending to take all three courses, so I thought I'd share in case someone else happened to be interested.
