Natural Science 301 Guidelines

This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

As usual, Tweb rules apply. If you haven't read them now would be a good time.

Jorge's previous definition for Functional Complex Information:
"INFORMATION that is complex and functional."

Jorge's new definition for Functional Complex Information:
"INFORMATION that is complex and functional."

Notice how the addition of color and the bolding as well as underlining of the word information makes all the difference.

Jorge, the point is when defining a term merely rearranging the exact same words is grossly insufficient. Though your further explanation is somewhat better (there is that incredibly low bar again) it is still deficient.

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

I remember the story of a lady that decided her bathroom scale was broken - it just kept giving her what she knew was the wrong value. So she went and bought a new scale. Sure enough it gave about the same number and she concluded it was broken too. After a few rounds of this she demanded to see the manager so she could give him an earful over her frustration over the quality of the bathroom scales he was selling.

The problem here Jorge is that you are just like that lady. Maybe its time to realize it's not the scale that is broken ...

What a preposterously dishonest analogy you have given here, O-Mudd!!!

The only thing I can say is that it is exactly what I have come to expect from you.

The above even after my explanation. WOW !!!

They are going to have to invent a new term for you, R06.
The words "dishonest/unethical" do not even begin to tell your story.

Is it against forum protocol to continually call someone dishonest without evidence to back it up?

JimOxbow seems like one of the most honest posters here.

So what was wrong with Rogue's post?

Is it 'cuz he left that "carrier" crap out?

And I suppose you have another tautological definition for that.

Why should science care about "spirituality"?

Why advocate the Oprahfication of science?

                    LOL!

                    Yes, such a meaningful definition.

The sky is blue shows that blue is the color of the sky!

The carrier of information, for example, is not the same as the actual information itself.
And yet, if we alter the DNA sequence, we alter the "information."

I have learned that any time a YEC/ID advocate refers to "information", one can almost guarantee that their ensuing verbiage will be devoid of rational thought, will be inconsistent if not self-contradictory, counter to what is known about biology, etc.
