This is an open forum area for all members for discussions on all issues of science and origins. This area will and does get volatile at times, but we ask that it be kept to a dull roar, and moderators will intervene to keep the peace if necessary. This means obvious trolling and flaming that becomes a problem will be dealt with, and you might find yourself in the doghouse.

As usual, Tweb rules apply. If you haven't read them now would be a good time.

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)

It was too hot for me to go outside and look at it. I will try it the next go round. I'm sensitive.

It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ― C.S. I suppose you took this lying on the ground when you took this else the increased tidal force could've ripped you apart!

Actually, Mr. mossy took it. I apparently was asleep and he sneaked out to take some pics. I believe he did it standing up.......

And, since we are pretty far from any oceans, any tidal vagaries (unproven, by the way, I have done some homework on supermoons) likely had no effect on us here.
