Well, yesterday Richard Branson made his first Virgin Galactic flight to the edge of space in his space plane. Bezos goes next week in Blue Origin. And Elon Musk has already shuttled astronauts to the ISS.
It is looking like this is the beginning of civilian space corporations and, in time, affordable space flights for civilians one day and maybe careers in space.
It got me to thinking... In the future, will they look back at Musk, Bezos and Branson like we do the great inventors/businessmen of the early 20th century, Alexander Bell, Nicola Tesla and Thomas Edison?
Is the 21st Century going to be to space travel what the 20th century was to air travel?
