Archeology 201 Guidelines
If Indiana Jones happened to be a member of Tweb, this is where he'd hang out.
Welcome to the Archeology forum. Were you out doing some gardening and dug up a relic from the distant past? would you like to know more about Ancient Egypt? Did you think Memphis was actually a city in Tennessee?
Well, for the answers to those and other burning questions you've found the right digs.
Our forum rules apply here too, if you haven't read them now is the time.

You also go into radio silence whenever you are called upon to substantiate your allegations. Hence I am still waiting for you to supply evidence to support your statement re the apostle Thomas that "the fact he went to India is pretty well established" along with your contention that there are "earlier documented visitations" concerning Christians in China that apparently contradict the "many sources".
Making erroneous as well as unsupported claims seems to be your forte.

I remind you again that the accepted date is 476 CE with the forced abdication of Romulus Augustulus to Odoacer.

The fact is this is hardly the first time that you've fallen back to accusing someone of being sexist when they have criticized you. Deal with it.
And while that was the date ascribed by Gibbon, a large number of dates have been proposed including what was called the Imperial Crisis (235–284 A.D.), the aforementioned 395 A.D., and the Vandal invasion on New Years Eve 406 A.D. And those aren't the only ones suggested. So your smug assertion that 476 A.D. is hardly the "accepted date" any more than the others.
Btw, I've planned on addressing your attempted rebuttal after the New Year. It's just hasn't been high on my list of priorities.
