Take a look on Worldcat, this is a very good resource for librarians. Enter the ISBN in the box and press enter, you will get a record that looks something like this (it will vary, of course, from book to book.)

I organized a pastor's library about 25 years ago. Had no idea what I was doing, but learned that the books have info on the copyright page inside about how they should be catalogued.

I'm organizing our church library. I plan to use Dewey since some books are already labeled. Any advice or tips for categorizing books? Is there a resource for this? What about indices?
