Greetings! Welcome to Health Science.

Here's where we talk about the latest fad diets, the advantages of vegetarianism, the joy of exercise and good health. Like everywhere else at Tweb our decorum rules apply.

This is a place to exchange ideas and network with other health conscience folks, this isn't a forum for heated debate.

Source: People are buying muscly bodysuits so they can look ripped without the gym

Put on a bit of timber during lockdown? You don't necessarily need to rush out to the gym as you can fake your way to a muscly physique

They’re made from 100% silicone and you have the option of buying a full torso, upper body or lower bodysuit.

Unfortunately though, the fake muscles are pretty pricey.

One eBay seller is flogging a half-bodysuit for AUD $270 (which is around £150).

This is more than the cost of an annual membership to some gyms – although admittedly, chiselling abs in real life requires a lot more effort.

Is there a disclaimer in the article about how hot and sweaty you are going to get wearing that thing, and how your new wife is going to file for divorce the day after your wedding for false advertising?

Right after she removes her girdle, padded push-up bra, fanny pads, and makeup?

Those things are probably not as deceptive.

And what about the hot and sweaty, and stinky, to boot?

Maybe they have body suits for wimmin too.

PS - I don't think these would work so well for guys with beer guts. They would only work for skinny folk.

Unless they have a really firm gut-sucker-inner band or something.

The same thought crossed my mind as well. If you look seven months pregnant in real life this won't magically make it vanish. You're still gonna have that beer gut.

Yeah, no... I'll stick with what I'm doing and work towards the real thing, thanks. It lasts longer and makes you feel (and look) better anyhow.
