Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
Believe!
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20, ESV)
It doesn’t matter what you were taught in your basic math classes but on the road through life 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 1, or to put it another way: God + Jesus + the Holy Spirit + You = ONE. And that ONE is not YOU because, “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV) And the news even gets better! Your life is no longer subject to the weakest link (you) but the “Powers that ARE” who created and sustains the universe!

Author Frank Viola writes, “Without seeing yourself as He sees you, there will always be anxiety between you and the Lord. (The anxiety comes from our side, not His.) Because of what the Lord has done to make us as pure as He is, we have no right to such anxiety. We have no right to an inferiority complex. We have no right to perpetual guilt. I could go on and on but it’s not quotes that I put here that will wipe away your unbelief it is the Holy Spirit that is very much alive in your heart that will take care of any unbelief you have when given the chance.
