Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
From one Rebel to another Rebel…

Jesus was a Rebel for the Kingdom of God! Yet Jesus wasn’t your normal Rebel the resources he used to stage his Rebellion were spiritual. After Jesus’ death and resurrection his faithful followers empowered by his Spirit continued to rebel against the status quo the early chapters of the Book of Acts records its phenomenal growth.

Today I am happy to say that I am a member of the Rebellion as well! The arena of my rebellion is struggling against the inherent difficulties of living in 2015 I am sure I need not list them because each us struggle against many of the same things. When I came across this promise from God I just had to share it with you.

“Remember this, so you can be brave! Think about it, you rebels! Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me, who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’ who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out my plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out.” (Isaiah 46:8 - 46:11 NET Bible)

God’s immediate plan is strengthen his Rebel Forces and bring them through just as he did Jesus. Sometimes we expect God’s plan to exclude us from difficulties after all isn’t what we do with our children? Don’t we try to clear a path for their growth? My parents did yet in spite of their best efforts life still confronted me with difficulties. They even introduced me to Jesus but it was on the road of Rebellion I had to find him myself.

Now that I am a part of the Rebellion it is my testimony that the words of Isaiah written and spoken thousands of years ago are just alive and powerful as they were then! When I look to the future there are many shadows yet to walk under however just as light the of morning sun rebels against the dark of night and wins I know as Jesus’ Light shines in our life we too will win.

    Believe! Anticipate! Experience! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary

The LORD gives strength to those who are weary… But those who trust the LORD will find new strength…” (Isaiah 40:29, 31 CEV)
